Filling Spaces presents Block Print Making

Block Printing Workshop with Deepali Kalia
We invite you to a hands-on block printing workshop led by Deepali Kalia, Founder of Filling Spaces.
Join us as we explore the rich heritage of traditional Indian textile printing. This immersive session goes beyond theory, offering a live demonstration of hand-carved wooden blocks and the opportunity to try the craft yourself.
Participants will experiment with stamping designs, create their own printed artwork, and take home a finished piece—ready to frame.
Come learn, create, and experience the timeless beauty of block printing.
Founded by sisters Deepali Kalia and Nanu Khanna, Filling Spaces is a collaboration of design and heritage. Based in Portland, Deepali leads the creative vision and design process, while Nanu heads the production unit in Delhi, India.
Together, they share a deep-seated passion for high-quality handwork and traditional techniques. Their mission is to transform ancient artistry into “sustainable luxury,” creating unique, handcrafted pieces that bring soul and character to modern interior design.
