Daria Voit

“The Same Inspiration, Across Different Cities”

Website: dariavoit.art

Daria Voit is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer working across painting, ceramics, and mixed media. Born in Moscow and now based in San Francisco, she has lived across different countries and cultures, each shaping the way she observes, interprets, and creates.

Drawn to texture, color, and the unexpected qualities of materials, Daria approaches her practice with curiosity and experimentation. In her paintings, she often works with fluid pouring techniques, while her ceramic work explores form through a tactile, hands-on process. Her multidisciplinary practice reflects an ongoing interest in transformation, materiality, and the ways creative expression can evolve through changing environments and experiences.

Daria Voit’s practice is rooted in experimentation, transformation, and an intuitive relationship with materials. Working across painting, ceramics, photography, and mixed media, she explores the interplay between control and unpredictability, allowing each medium to influence the direction of the work.

Texture and color are central to her visual language. Through fluid painting techniques, she embraces movement, chance, and the organic interactions that occur between materials. In ceramics, the process becomes more tactile, with form developing directly through the movement of her hands.

Having lived between countries and cultures, Daria’s work is also informed by transition and adaptation. Art serves as a space for reflection and discovery, allowing her to process change while remaining open to unexpected outcomes. Across mediums, her practice celebrates experimentation and the beauty that can emerge when materials are given room to transform.
