Luke Reichle is an artist, designer, speaker and writer. Early
training in painting and sculpture led to enrolment in San Francisco’s Pacific
Fashion Institute. While in school, his women’s eveningwear was featured in
Henri Bendel and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Upon moving to New York, Luke worked as a design assistant on Perry Ellis
Collection as well as on the development and launch of Perry Ellis America. He
was hired away to Calvin Klein Menswear and later was named design director of
Bjorn Borg Design Group, overseeing an international design team developing
categories of men’s collections.
In 1991 he made the transition to costume design and has since worked in the
mediums of film, television and theater. Luke’s breadth of experience allows him
to move comfortably through the milieu of period, fantasy and comtemporary
design. As a writer, his screenplay American Matrimony is currently in
development with Blacklight Films. His book, Secrets Of The Red Carpet: A
Practical Journey Into The Spiritual Nature Of Style is being workshopped in
seminars across the country.
