Working with a designer
To find the right match, contact two or three design professionals, review their design portfolios, and contact their references. Ask about their formal education, professional expertise, and their working process.  Discuss the project at hand, fees, timetable, and project goals.

Many designers provide a one-hour complimentary consultation to discuss the scope of a design project. Design service compensation methods typically include either: (1) hourly fee, plus percentage of the products purchased. (2) Flat fee, plus percentage of the products purchased.
